Birth to 18 months of age.
Focus on building caring social connections with caregivers, exploring the world through crawling, walking and sensory play. Focus on meeting the individual daily needs of our littlest ones.
18 months to 30 months of age.
Focus on developing language, social interactions, self-help skills and physical abilities. Focus on responding to the child's emotional needs as they navigate their world
and make new discoveries.
30 months to kindergarten age.
Focus on developing friendships, self-help skills, language and math skills as well as role play and fostering interests in the outdoors.
Focus on developing age appropriate independence and self help skills.
Our Approach
Here at Village Green Child Care Centre, we follow "How Does Learning Happen" Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years and "Early Learning for Every Child Today" as the framework to guide programming and pedagogy.
We view each child as competent, capable, curious and rich in potential.
Documentation
We are pleased to offer our families an on-line app for receiving daily updates called HiMama.
This interactive app allows you to communicate with the teachers, provide and request information, keep a journal of your child's photos and much more.
